⚡ Hydranautics ESPA4-4040 Ultra-Low Pressure RO Membrane
The Hydranautics ESPA4-4040 is an ultra-low pressure reverse osmosis (RO) membrane designed for maximum energy efficiency without compromising water quality. As one of the highest productivity elements in the ESPA (Energy Saving Polyamide) family, this 4-inch diameter membrane is specifically engineered for applications where reducing operational costs and energy consumption is the primary objective. It is the ideal solution for municipal drinking water systems, industrial process water, and high-volume commercial RO units.
By utilizing a proprietary high-flux polyamide thin-film composite, the ESPA4-4040 is capable of producing significant permeate flow at much lower driving pressures compared to standard brackish water membranes. It offers a nominal salt rejection of 99.2%, effectively removing dissolved solids while maintaining high throughput. The element features a durable 34-mil feed spacer that improves hydrodynamics and reduces the risk of fouling, ensuring stable performance and extended intervals between chemical cleanings in diverse water conditions.
