🏢 FilmTec BW30-4040 Brackish Water RO Membrane

 

The FilmTec BW30-4040 is an industry-standard 4-inch reverse osmosis element designed for the purification of brackish water in commercial and light industrial applications. It is widely recognized for its consistent performance and reliability, making it a staple in systems producing high-quality water for drinking, food and beverage processing, and industrial rinse water. As part of the BW30 series, this element is built to withstand high-volume usage while delivering excellent permeate quality and durability over a long service life.

Constructed with a polyamide thin-film composite membrane and a robust fiberglass hard-shell exterior, the BW30-4040 is engineered to handle a variety of feedwater sources. It features a spiral-wound design that optimizes surface area and provides a nominal salt rejection of 99.5%. With a permeate flow rate of 2,400 gallons per day, this element offers a high-productivity solution for system operators looking to achieve superior water purity at standard operating pressures.
