The FilmTec BW30XFR-400/34i is a premium 4-inch x 40-inch Brackish Water (BW) Reverse Osmosis element from DuPont Water Solutions, engineered for industrial and commercial applications with high potential for biological or organic fouling. The key feature of this element is the Extreme Fouling Resistance (XFR) technology, which incorporates a wider 34-mil feed spacer to minimize pressure drop and the accumulation of fouling materials on the membrane surface, significantly reducing cleaning frequency and maintenance costs.
This element provides high performance with a nominal flow rate of 2,300 GPD and excellent salt rejection of 99.5%, making it suitable for high-quality product water production. The membrane also features the proprietary i-LEC™ Interlocking Endcaps technology, which reduces the potential for element telescoping and improves flow sealing, ensuring more reliable, long-term system operation.
