The Hydranautics LFC3-LD-4040 is a specialized 4-inch reverse osmosis element designed for the treatment of difficult feedwaters with high organic and colloidal fouling potential. By utilizing a unique neutrally charged surface and hydrophilic membrane chemistry, it significantly reduces fouling rates and restores nominal performance more effectively after cleaning than standard composite membranes. This makes it an ideal solution for municipal and industrial wastewater reclamation projects where consistent permeate quality is required under demanding conditions.
This membrane incorporates advanced LD Technology® (Low Differential Pressure), featuring a 34-mil feed spacer that minimizes the trapping of small colloidal particles and reduces biological growth. This design results in a lower pressure drop (ΔP) across the element, leading to fewer required cleaning cycles and extended membrane life.
