Product Description
The DuPont FilmTec™ NF270-2540 is a versatile and energy-efficient Nanofiltration element designed for high flow and effective removal of hardness, color, and larger organic contaminants. Operating at a low pressure of just 70 PSI, this element offers a significant reduction in energy costs compared to standard Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.
The NF270 membrane is optimized for minimal NaCl passage (typically 20−70% NaCl rejection) while providing high rejection of divalent ions, achieving a nominal rejection rate of 99% for MgSO4 (Magnesium Sulfate). This makes it an excellent choice for water softening without the use of salt and for applications like color removal, reduction of total organic carbon (TOC), and general light commercial water purification. The element delivers a nominal flow of 600 Gallons Per Day (GPD).
