🌐 TORAY TML20D-400 Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane Element

The TORAY TML20D-400 is a standard 8-inch Reverse Osmosis (RO) element specifically engineered for treating low salinity brackish water and municipal water sources. Part of the TML (Toray Low Pressure Municipal) series, this element is optimized for excellent performance at ultra-low operating pressures, which drastically reduces energy consumption and operational costs.

This element is manufactured by TORAY Industries, Inc. and is not a CSM membrane. It utilizes a durable cross-linked aromatic polyamide composite material that provides high rejection of salts and organic matter (with 99.7% nominal NaCl rejection) while maintaining a high nominal flow of 12,000 GPD at an applied pressure of just 150 psi. The $400 \text{ft}^2$ of active surface area makes this a high-productivity element suitable for large commercial and industrial systems.
