The CAT Pumps 5CP3120CSSG1 is a specialized Triplex Plunger Pump assembly equipped with a gearbox, widely recognized as a premium upgrade for commercial pressure washers. Unlike standard brass pumps, this model is constructed with a 316 Stainless Steel manifold and solid ceramic plungers, providing superior resistance to corrosive detergents, saltwater, and harsh chemical environments often encountered in industrial cleaning.
Designed for heavy-duty applications, this unit features a 1" hollow shaft gearbox that bolts directly to 9HP – 13HP gas engines (such as the Honda GX270 or GX390). The integrated gearbox reduces the engine speed to a lower, optimal pump RPM, minimizing heat and wear for extended service life. As a true Positive Displacement Pump, it delivers a verified flow rate of 4.5 GPM at 3,500 PSI, offering the high-impact cleaning power required for fleet washing, sanitation, and facility maintenance.
