💧 DuPont FilmTec™ NF90-4040 Nanofiltration Element
Product Description
The DuPont FilmTec™ NF90-4040 is a 4-inch by 40-inch Nanofiltration (NF) element engineered for high productivity at a low operating pressure. This element selectively removes multivalent ions (like hardness, sulfate, and magnesium) and high molecular weight organic compounds, including pesticides, herbicides, and THM precursors, while allowing a portion of monovalent salts (like sodium chloride) to pass through. Operating at just 70 PSI applied pressure, the NF90-4040 delivers a nominal permeate flow of 2,000 Gallons Per Day (GPD) with a stabilized salt rejection (tested against MgSO4) of 98.7%. Its fiberglass outer wrap provides durability. This element is the ideal solution for commercial drinking water production, partial demineralization, and color/TOC removal.
