💧 Fluid-o-Tech PA 500 Rotary Vane Pump
The Fluid-o-Tech PA 500 is a high-volume positive displacement rotary vane pump from the PO/PA 500-1000 series. Constructed with a durable Brass housing, this model is designed for commercial applications requiring higher flow rates than the standard espresso-style pumps. It features larger 1/2" NPT inlet and outlet ports to accommodate its increased capacity, delivering approximately 165 GPH (Gallons Per Hour) when operated at standard motor speeds.
This specific model (PA 500) is a non-bypass unit, meaning it does not have an internal relief valve. This configuration is ideal for applications where flow is controlled externally or where a separate safety relief valve is installed in the system line. It utilizes the standard Carbonator Clamp mounting interface, allowing it to attach securely to NEMA 48Y frame motors using a v-band clamp. The internal components include a stainless steel rotor and carbon graphite vanes, ensuring reliable performance for water circulation, reverse osmosis, and cooling systems.

The PO 500-1000 series positive displacement rotary vane pumps are available with brass or stainless steel housing with ½” GAS or NPT ports and internal relief valve. The nominal flow rates range between 500 and 1000 l/h at 1450 rpm. Any vane pumps of this series may be operated at 1725 rpm as well and will provide about 20% more capacity, with a maximum of 320 GPH. Maximum discharge pressure is 230 psi (16 bar). This series mounts directly to widely available NEMA 48Y motor by means of a v-band clamp and to M71, M80 IEC and NEMA 56C motors by means of an adapter and relevant coupling.
