The CAT Pumps 270 is an industrial-duty triplex positive displacement reciprocating plunger pump engineered for continuous, reliable performance in high-pressure fluid handling applications. Built on a compact and durable 3-frame crankcase, this model features a robust Forged Brass manifold and 304 Stainless Steel valve assemblies, providing excellent structural strength and corrosion resistance. It is highly regarded as an industry standard for demanding tasks such as car wash systems, commercial pressure washing, misting, and chemical injection where dependable, smooth liquid flow is essential.
Designed to maximize uptime and reduce maintenance costs, the 270 is equipped with precision-polished solid ceramic plungers and standard NBR (Buna-N) seals, offering a true wear surface that significantly extends seal life. Its wet-end can be easily serviced without entering the crankcase, and its preset packings eliminate the need for packing gland adjustments. Highly efficient and versatile, this belt-driven or direct-coupled pump delivers a consistent 3.5 GPM at pressures up to 1500 PSI (running at 1420 RPM), ensuring optimal performance for continuous-duty high-pressure cleaning systems.
