The DuPont FilmTec™ BW30LE-4040 is a highly efficient, Low Energy Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane engineered to deliver exceptional system performance in light industrial and commercial water treatment applications. Utilizing advanced Polyamide Thin-Film Composite technology, this 4" x 40" element is specifically designed to produce high-quality permeate at significantly lower feed pressures compared to standard brackish water membranes. By operating at a lower pressure baseline, the BW30LE-4040 minimizes energy consumption and reduces the operational strain on system pumps, resulting in substantial cost savings over the lifespan of the system.

Constructed with a robust hard shell (fiberglass) exterior, the BW30LE-4040 is built to withstand higher pressure drops, making it an excellent choice for systems utilizing multiple-element housings. It features a durable 34-mil feed spacer that helps mitigate the impact of biological and colloidal fouling, reducing the frequency of necessary cleanings.
