The DuPont FilmTec TW30-2540 is the industry-standard Tap Water Reverse Osmosis Element for small-scale commercial applications. Recognized worldwide for its reliability, this 2.5-inch diameter membrane delivers consistent high-purity water from tap or brackish feed sources. It utilizes DuPont’s advanced FT30 polyamide thin-film composite chemistry, which provides exceptional salt rejection and longevity, making it the preferred choice for spot-free rinse systems, office water dispensing, and light industrial manufacturing.
Distinct from fiberglass-encased industrial models, the TW30-2540 features a Tape-Wrapped exterior. This construction allows for a slightly tighter fit within the pressure vessel to prevent bypass and makes the element more economical for systems that use one or two elements per housing. With a nominal flow rate of 1,000 GPD at standard test conditions, it offers a perfect balance of production capacity and permeate quality, effectively removing up to 99.5% of dissolved solids.
