The PA prefix indicates a built-in, adjustable bypass/relief valve, allowing the user to precisely set the operating pressure and divert excess flow safely back to the inlet. The suffix "X" on the model number typically denotes a variant that includes an additional built-in feature, most commonly an internal 70 mesh strainer/filter integrated into the pump body. This built-in filter protects the pump's precision internals (rotor and carbon vanes) from small particulates in the feedwater, significantly increasing the pump's lifespan and reducing maintenance.
