Manufactured utilizing proprietary Thin Film Nanocomposite (TFN) technology, this 4-inch by 40-inch spiral-wound element features benign nanomaterials embedded within the polyamide layer. This innovative construction maximizes permeability and anti-fouling properties, allowing the membrane to deliver high productivity at significantly reduced feed pressures without compromising water quality. It is widely specified for spot-free rinse applications and commercial water treatment systems prioritizing energy efficiency and high-volume throughput.
Designed for seamless integration into standard commercial housings, the LG CW 4040 SF provides an exceptional permeate flow rate of 2,900 GPD with a stabilized salt rejection of 99.0% under standard testing conditions. The element utilizes an 85 square foot active membrane area and features a 28-mil feed spacer to balance flow dynamics and minimize particulate fouling. Operating efficiently at a test pressure of only 100 PSI, this membrane drastically reduces the energy consumption of high-pressure booster pumps while safely accommodating a maximum applied pressure of 600 PSI for demanding feed water environments.
