The DuPont FilmTec NF270-4040 is a unique, high-flow Nanofiltration element engineered for commercial systems that require efficient removal of hardness and specific contaminants while operating at minimal pressure. This element excels in processes known as "partial softening," effectively removing the divalent ions that cause scaling (like calcium and magnesium) but allowing beneficial monovalent salts (like sodium chloride) to pass. This feature is crucial for maintaining water quality and managing downstream corrosion control.

This Nanofiltration model is an ideal solution for treating surface water or groundwater where a high level of Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and other color-forming compounds must be rejected. By requiring only 70 PSI for operation, the NF270-4040 significantly lowers the energy demand and overall operating expense of your water treatment system.
