The DuPont FilmTec NF270-4040 is a unique, high-flow Nanofiltration element engineered for commercial systems that require efficient removal of hardness and specific contaminants while operating at minimal pressure. This element excels in processes known as "partial softening," effectively removing the divalent ions that cause scaling (like calcium and magnesium) but allowing beneficial monovalent salts (like sodium chloride) to pass.
