The Hydranautics SanRO HS-8 is a high-performance, 8-inch heat-sanitizable reverse osmosis element designed specifically for USP-compliant and high-purity water systems. It is a premier choice for the pharmaceutical, medical, and biotechnology industries, where stringent bacteria control and microbial limits are critical. The "HS" designation indicates its ability to withstand hot water sanitization at temperatures up to 185°F (85°C), eliminating the need for chemical disinfectants and reducing the potential for chemical handling or disposal concerns.
Engineered with a sanitary, full-fit outer wrap, the SanRO HS-8 eliminates "dead flow" areas that can serve as breeding grounds for bacterial growth. This element utilizes an energy-saving, highly permeable polyamide composite membrane that maintains a stable, high permeate flux of 8,800 gallons per day even after repeated sanitization cycles.
