HCTI PV-2540SW-2 Fiberglass RO Pressure Vessel (2.5" x 40", 1000 PSI)

The PV-2540SW-2 is a filament-wound fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) pressure vessel by Hydrocomponents & Technologies, Inc. (HCTI), is engineered to house a single 2.5" x 40" reverse osmosis membrane element for desalination, watermaker, and general RO system applications. Built using an advanced continuous winding process, the vessel shell is composed of continuous fiberglass impregnated with a heated epoxy resin system, resulting in a lightweight yet high-strength housing designed for continuous, long-term service life.

Rated for a maximum operating pressure of 1,000 PSI (69 bar), the PV-2540SW-2 is well suited for higher-pressure RO applications, including small-scale seawater desalination and watermaker systems where standard low-pressure housings aren't sufficient. The vessel is fitted with stainless steel end caps, secured by a stainless steel retaining device and sealed with double O-rings, providing a secure, leak-resistant closure at both ends. A finished white painted exterior gives the vessel a clean, corrosion-resistant, UV-stable appearance suited for both indoor installations and exposed marine or outdoor environments.

Each PV-2540SW-2 vessel ships complete with mounting straps and saddles, simplifying installation onto a skid or bulkhead without the need for separately sourced hardware. The vessel supports an allowable water pH range of 3–10 under normal operating conditions, and 2–12 during periodic cleaning cycles, giving system operators flexibility when running CIP (clean-in-place) procedures.
