Collection: Full-Fit FilmTec™ Membranes
Full-Fit FilmTec™ Sanitary Reverse Osmosis Membranes
Full-Fit FilmTec™ membranes are a specialized line of sanitary-grade reverse osmosis elements manufactured by DuPont Water Solutions, engineered specifically for industries where hygiene, purity, and regulatory compliance are non-negotiable. Unlike standard RO elements, "Full-Fit" (FF) elements are built without a traditional brine seal or anti-telescoping device (ATD), eliminating the stagnant, hard-to-clean spaces where bacteria can otherwise take hold. This sanitary construction allows every element in this collection to meet U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA) indirect food contact requirements, making them a trusted choice for food and beverage processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical water systems, biotechnology, and evaporator condensate polishing applications.
This collection includes both standard-temperature and Heat Sanitizable (HSRO) elements, available in 4-inch by 40-inch and 8-inch by 40-inch configurations to fit standard commercial pressure vessels. Heat Sanitizable models allow facilities to sanitize their RO system using hot water alone, up to 185°F (85°C), reducing or eliminating dependency on chemical sanitizers and simplifying regulatory documentation for sensitive environments. Every membrane in this collection is a genuine, authentic FilmTec™ element, in stock and ready for fast shipment from the United States.
Choosing the right element: Select a 4x40 element for smaller systems, single-pass polishing, or space-constrained installations, and an 8x40 element for higher-capacity commercial and industrial systems that need fewer elements per vessel. If your facility's sanitation protocol relies on hot-water-in-place (HWIP) sanitization rather than chemical sanitizers, choose one of the Heat Sanitizable (HSRO) models below.

All elements share a maximum operating pressure of 600 PSI (41 bar), a maximum operating temperature of 113°F (45°C) for non-heat-sanitization use, and are constructed from polyamide thin-film composite membrane. Individual permeate flow rates may vary from stated nominal values. Always confirm current specifications against DuPont's official Product Data Sheet before purchase or system design.
