4040 PurClean Spot-Free Rinse Ultra-Low Pressure RO Membranes

This standard replacement element for PurClean spot-free rinse car wash systems is a commercial-grade, ultra-low pressure reverse osmosis (RO) membrane that restores peak water purification to your operation. Built with an advanced composite polyamide polymer, this 4-inch by 40-inch spiral-wound element is the trusted, premier membrane utilized in multi-membrane PurClean setups. It features a specialized 34-mil low-differential (LD) feed spacer specifically designed to minimize colloidal fouling, significantly extending the operational lifespan and time between required cleanings.

This standard 4040 membrane is utilized across the following PurClean systems:

  • PurClean 10000 Stand Mount

  • PurClean 15000 Stand Mount

  • PurClean 20000 GPD System

  • PurClean E3 Spot-Free Rinse System (including 15,000, 18,000, and 25,000 GPD stand mount iterations)

Designed for maximum energy efficiency, this membrane yields a high permeate flow rate of 2,350 gallons per day (GPD) with a nominal salt rejection of 99.2%. It operates at an exceptionally low test pressure of just 100 PSI, which drastically reduces the energy required by high-pressure booster pumps and lowers operational costs. Built to withstand demanding continuous use, it safely handles a maximum applied pressure of 600 PSI and continuous liquid temperatures up to 113°F (45°C). This dependable, ultra-pure water production provides the exact purity necessary for spot-free rinses at commercial car washes, ensuring a flawless finish without compromising system output or transfer.
