Hydranautics SanRO HS2-4 Heat Sanitizable RO Membrane
The Hydranautics SanRO HS2-4 is a specialized Heat Sanitizable Reverse Osmosis Element engineered specifically for high-performance USP (United States Pharmacopeia) classified water systems. Built with an advanced composite polyamide polymer, this 4-inch membrane is designed to meet the rigorous demands of the pharmaceutical, medical, biotechnology, and food and beverage industries. It features a sanitary, full-fit (net-type) outer wrap that entirely eliminates "dead flow" areas, effectively preventing the accumulation of contaminants and destroying potential breeding grounds for bacterial growth.
Designed to maximize operational convenience and safety, the SanRO HS2-4 is capable of safely withstanding repeated heat sanitization cycles at temperatures up to 185°F (85°C). This allows facilities to eliminate the handling, storage, and disposal of harsh chemical sanitizers, promoting a safer, greener, and more cost-effective cleaning process. Operating at a standard test pressure of 225 PSI, this "HS2" high-flux model reliably produces 3,000 Gallons Per Day (GPD) while maintaining an exceptional nominal salt rejection of 99.6%. This ensures a consistent and ultra-pure water supply that fully conforms to FDA Regulation CFR Title 21 requirements
