This fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) pressure vessel is purpose-built to serve as a watermaker membrane housing, giving sailors, yacht owners, and cruisers a dependable way to make fresh water at sea. Proudly designed and manufactured in the United States, it's sized to house a single 2.5" x 21" membrane element, making it a natural fit for watermaker systems aboard sailboats, catamarans, and cruising yachts that need a bit more membrane length than a compact 14" housing offers, without stepping up to a larger diameter vessel.

Constructed with a durable, non-corrosive fiberglass housing in natural color (white finish available on request), this vessel features end-entry feed and brine ports standard on every unit — a design built for the rigors of marine environments and continuous saltwater exposure. An anodized aluminum retaining clamp locking device makes installation straightforward in tight boat compartments, while flush-mount anodized aluminum or acetal co-polymer end plugs, backed by stainless steel backing plates, keep fitting installation simple even in cramped lazarettes and engine rooms. FDA-approved ethylene propylene (EPDM) O-rings are standard, providing a reliable seal against saltwater intrusion.

Rated for 1,000 PSI working pressure, this vessel is well suited to the seawater desalination pressures a watermaker's RO membrane needs to operate efficiently. At 24" overall length, it fits into the tight, space-constrained installation areas common on sailboats and yachts, where every inch of storage and equipment space counts on a passage.
