The CAT Pumps 277 is an industrial-duty triplex positive displacement reciprocating plunger pump specifically engineered for demanding, high-salinity applications. As part of the 3-frame series, this model is constructed with a heavy-duty Nickel Aluminum Bronze (NAB) manifold and 316 Stainless Steel valve assemblies. This specialized metallurgy offers superior tensile strength and exceptional corrosion resistance compared to standard brass or stainless steel, making it the premier choice for saltwater reverse osmosis (SWRO), desalination, and harsh oilfield operations.
Designed for continuous-duty reliability in aggressive fluid environments, the 277 features solid ceramic plungers and standard NBR seals that provide a smooth, low-pulsation flow. The pump operates efficiently at 1420 RPM, delivering a consistent 3.5 GPM at pressures up to 1500 PSI.
