While the fluid-contact components are precision-machined from 316 stainless steel, the pump integrates a variety of specialized materials to maximize overall performance, durability, and cost-efficiency. It utilizes a lightweight aluminum crankcase to effectively dissipate heat, along with solid ceramic plungers that provide a true, low-friction wear surface to significantly extend the lifespan of the standard NBR (Buna-N) seals and O-rings. Furthermore, the "Q" in the model number designates a specialized internal design that reduces operating sound levels by up to 6 decibels, making it ideal for indoor or noise-sensitive installations. Operating at 1725 RPM, this compact positive displacement pump mounts seamlessly to a standard NEMA 56C face electric motor via a 5/8-inch hollow shaft, delivering a highly consistent flow rate of 4.2 gallons per minute (GPM) at a robust test pressure of 1200 PSI.
