3,000 GPD 4040 Ultra-Low Pressure RO Membrane for PurClean Spot-Free Rinse Systems Utilizing 95601 Membranes
This 4" × 40" ultra-low pressure RO membrane is an alternative to PurClean's 3,000 GPD 4040 membrane (legacy part # 95601) for PurClean spot-free rinse car wash systems. It pairs an energy-saving composite polyamide membrane with a 34-mil low-differential (LD) feed spacer designed to resist colloidal fouling and extend the time between cleanings.
Rated it at 2,350 GPD with 99.2% nominal salt rejection at a low 100 PSI test pressure, and output increases at higher operating pressures. It handles a maximum applied pressure of 600 PSI and a maximum operating temperature of 113°F (45°C).
Compatible PurClean Systems
- PurClean 10,000 GPD Stand Mount (uses 4)
- PurClean 15,000 GPD Stand Mount (uses 6)
- PurClean 20,000 GPD System (uses 8)
Not compatible with PurClean 1,000 GPD units, which use a 4" × 21" membrane.
PurClean offers two different 4" × 40" membranes: a 3,000 GPD version (legacy part # 95601) and a 2,000 GPD version (legacy part # 95602). This membrane is comparable to the higher-flow 3,000 GPD version. If your system uses the 2,000 GPD version, or you have a PurClean E3 unit, contact us before ordering to confirm fit.
Installation Note: After replacing membranes, re-check the reject and recycle valve settings per your PurClean manual to keep recovery and product water TDS in range.
