The Cat Pumps 311 is an industrial-duty, 5-frame triplex positive displacement plunger pump engineered for continuous-duty, high-pressure liquid transfer and cleaning systems. Constructed with a robust 316 stainless steel manifold and precision-machined 316 stainless steel valve assemblies, this pump offers superior corrosion resistance and durability in demanding environments. Its internal components feature high-density, polished solid ceramic plungers that provide a true wear surface to minimize friction and heat, ensuring extended seal life and reliable operation even under intense duty cycles.
Designed for consistent performance and low pulsation, the 311 delivers a flow rate of up to 4.0 GPM at a maximum operating pressure of 2,200 PSI. The pump utilizes an oil-bath crankcase design for optimal lubrication of the internal drive components, and its pre-set low-pressure seals are lubricated and cooled by the pumped liquid, providing secondary protection against external leaks. Featuring a standard 1/2" NPT(F) inlet and 3/8" NPT(F) discharge port configuration, it is highly versatile for various drive methods including belt, clutch, or direct-coupled configurations.
