2.5" x 21" Extra Low Energy Reverse Osmosis Membrane (365 GPD, 99% Rejection)
This 2.5-inch diameter, 21-inch length reverse osmosis element is engineered specifically for extra low energy (XLE-type) applications, delivering high-quality permeate water while operating at reduced feed pressures compared to standard RO membranes. Built with a thin-film composite polyamide membrane, it offers an excellent balance of high salt rejection and low energy consumption, making it a reliable choice for point-of-use, point-of-entry, and small commercial reverse osmosis systems where energy efficiency and consistent water quality are priorities.
The element is designed to fit a standard 2.45–2.5 inch ID housing or pressure vessel, simplifying installation and replacement in existing RO systems. At standard test conditions, this membrane produces a permeate flow rate of 365 GPD with a 99% nominal and minimum salt rejection rating, ensuring dependable, high-purity output batch after batch. All wetted materials are NSF and/or FDA compliant (with the exception of the outer wrap adhesive and fiberglass outer wrap), supporting its suitability for potable water and food-and-beverage-adjacent applications.
Constructed with a tape-overwrap outer shell and a durable thin-film composite membrane leaf, this element is built to withstand the rigors of continuous residential and light commercial operation while maintaining a wide operating pH tolerance for both service and cleaning cycles.
