The CAT Pumps 5CPQ6221 is a premium Triplex Plunger Pump engineered for demanding industrial applications requiring superior corrosion resistance. Constructed with a complete 316 Stainless Steel wet end (including manifolds and valve assemblies), this positive displacement pump is designed to handle aggressive fluids. This makes it an excellent choice for reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination, chemical injection, and high-purity industrial cooling or processing systems. It is part of CAT's specialized "Q" series, which incorporates internal modifications that significantly reduce operating sound levels by up to 6 decibels (dBa), providing a much quieter environment for equipment operators.

Delivering reliable, continuous-duty performance, the 5CPQ6221 is rated for 6.0 GPM at 2000 PSI when operating at standard speeds (1400 RPM). However, its versatile drive configuration allows for alternative performance specifications, capable of safely achieving up to 7.4 GPM at 1500 PSI when run at 1725 RPM. The pump utilizes standard NBR (Buna-N) seals and solid ceramic plungers to ensure long-lasting durability and consistent, low-pulsation flow. It can be easily adapted for multiple drive configurations, including a direct-drive bell housing for electric motors or a traditional belt-drive setup.
