Product Description
The CAT Pumps 701557.800 Pulsation Dampener is a heavy-duty, rechargeable accessory designed to neutralize pressure fluctuations and system shocks common in positive displacement pump systems. This unit is rated for maximum flow rates of 320 GPM and maximum system pressures of 1,275 PSI.
The dampener housing is constructed from 316 Stainless Steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance for use with aggressive fluids, saltwater, and Reverse Osmosis (RO) applications. The internal bladder is made of Buna-N (NBR), the standard material suitable for water-based liquids and general industrial use. The replaceable bladder design allows for convenient servicing without disturbing plumbing. The dampener must be mounted directly onto the pump's discharge manifold for optimal performance, minimizing vibration and extending the life of seals and system components.
