The CAT Pumps 890710 is a high-capacity Stainless Steel Pop-Off Valve engineered to provide critical secondary pressure relief for heavy-duty industrial pumping systems. Designed to safely handle massive flow rates up to 100 GPM, this valve serves as a vital fail-safe mechanism. It protects expensive pumps and downstream system components from catastrophic damage in the event of a primary regulator or unloader failure. By remaining closed during normal operation and instantly bypassing fluid if the system pressure spikes dangerously high, it prevents component ruptures and costly downtime.

Constructed from highly corrosion-resistant 316 Stainless Steel and equipped with premium FPM (Fluorocarbon / Viton) O-rings, the 890710 is built to withstand harsh, aggressive fluids and elevated liquid temperatures up to 180°F. This makes it an essential safety component for demanding applications such as large-scale reverse osmosis (RO) desalination, chemical processing, and industrial wastewater reclamation. It features a 1" NPT(M) inlet for secure, direct mounting into the discharge line, and it is strictly calibrated for high-volume systems operating between 300 and 1500 PSI.
