The DuPont FilmTec™ BW30XFR-400/34 is a premium Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis (RO) Membrane engineered to deliver exceptional performance and durability in highly fouling water applications. Utilizing advanced Polyamide Thin-Film Composite technology, this 8" x 40" element is specifically optimized to treat challenging feedwaters such as industrial wastewater and municipal reuse streams. By offering superior fouling resistance, it allows plant operators to achieve high-purity water with excellent salt rejection while minimizing operational downtime and extending the overall life of the element.

Designed for maximum longevity and reduced maintenance costs, the BW30XFR-400/34 features an optimal 400 square feet of active membrane area and a rugged 34-mil feed spacer. This optimized spacer thickness significantly reduces the impact of biological and colloidal fouling compared to standard designs. When cleaning is required, this element features one of the widest cleaning pH ranges in the industry (1–13), providing robust chemical tolerance and ensuring effective restoration of membrane performance after rigorous clean-in-place (CIP) procedures. It operates at a standard test pressure of 225 PSI and delivers a highly reliable permeate flow rate of 11,500 GPD.
