Hydranautics CPA3-8 Brackish Water RO Membrane

The Hydranautics CPA3-8 is a high-performance Brackish Water Reverse Osmosis Element engineered to deliver exceptional water purity for critical industrial applications. Built with an advanced composite polyamide polymer, this 8-inch commercial membrane is designed to provide the highest standard of salt rejection available in the CPA (Composite Polyamide) line. It is widely utilized in demanding environments such as power generation facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and the semiconductor industry, where ultrapure water and the effective reduction of silica, hardness, and Total Organic Carbon (TOC) are absolutely essential.

Operating at a standard test pressure of 225 PSI, the CPA3-8 produces a robust permeate flow of 11,000 Gallons Per Day (GPD). It features an expansive 400 square foot active surface area paired with a durable 34-mil feed spacer, which significantly enhances the membrane's tolerance to suspended solids in the feedwater. This specialized construction not only ensures an industry-leading stabilized salt rejection of 99.7%, but it also helps reduce overall capital costs by maximizing the production output of each individual pressure vessel in the system.
