Hydranautics ESPA-4014 Energy-Saving RO Membrane

 

The Hydranautics ESPA-4014 is a high-productivity, 4-inch diameter reverse osmosis element designed for energy-efficient water treatment in space-constrained applications. As a core member of the ESPA (Energy Saving Polyamide) family, it is engineered to deliver high permeate flux at significantly lower operating pressures compared to standard brackish water membranes. This performance profile allows for substantial reductions in energy consumption and operational costs, making it a preferred choice for light industrial systems, bottling operations, and municipal potable water plants.

Constructed with a composite polyamide membrane polymer, the ESPA-4014 maintains high salt rejection standards while optimizing water production. Its unique 14-inch length allows it to fit into specialized short-vessel housings often found in compact or mobile water treatment units. With a nominal salt rejection of 99.4% and a permeate flow of 500 gallons per day, this element provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for treating low-to-medium TDS feedwater without compromising the quality of the final purified water.
