Hydranautics ESPA4-LD Low Energy RO Membrane

The Hydranautics ESPA4-LD is a high-productivity Low Energy Brackish Water RO Element designed to minimize operating costs without sacrificing performance. As part of the "ESPA" (Energy Saving Polyamide) family, this membrane operates at a significantly reduced pressure of 100 PSI, allowing for substantial energy savings and the use of smaller high-pressure pumps. Ideally suited for treating difficult brackish water, wastewater, and surface water, it serves as a critical component in municipal and industrial water treatment plants.

The "LD" (Low Differential) designation indicates the use of advanced fouling-resistant technology. This element is constructed with a thicker 34-mil feed spacer, which reduces the accumulation of colloidal particles and biological growth on the membrane surface. This design not only lowers the differential pressure (Delta P) across the element but also improves cleanability and extends the intervals between chemical cleanings, ensuring stable long-term operation in challenging feed water conditions.
