Fluid-o-Tech PA1501 Rotary Vane Pump

The Fluid-o-Tech PA1501 is a highly efficient, positive displacement rotary vane pump belonging to the versatile PO/PA 70-400 Series. Engineered specifically for precision fluid transfer at low flow rates and high pressures, this pump is constructed with a durable brass housing and a stainless steel (AISI 303) rotor. The internal pumping chamber and precision vanes are manufactured entirely from high-density carbon graphite, providing a self-lubricating, low-friction wear surface. This premium internal metallurgy ensures a smooth, pulsation-free liquid delivery and exceptionally quiet operation, making it an industry-standard component for continuous-duty commercial applications such as espresso coffee machines, post-mix drink dispensers, cooling systems, and specialized water treatment setups.

Designed to maximize operational reliability and system safety, the PA1501 delivers a nominal flow rate of 60 GPH (1.0 GPM) and features a standard built-in internal relief valve (bypass). This integrated bypass protects the pump and surrounding plumbing from unexpected pressure spikes and allows for precise pressure regulation directly at the pump head, safely accommodating operating pressures up to 230 PSI. The pump utilizes a standard carbonator clamp (V-band) mounting configuration, which allows for quick and seamless direct coupling to NEMA 48Y or standard NEMA 56C electric motors using an appropriate adapter. Equipped with standard 3/8" NPT(F) ports, this compact rotary vane pump provides the consistent, high-pressure liquid handling required for mission-critical commercial equipment.

The PO 70-400 series positive displacement rotary vane pumps are available with brass or stainless steel housings with 3/8” GAS or NPT ports and internal relief valve. The nominal flow rates range between 70 and 400 l/h at 1450 rpm. Any vane pump of this series may be operated at 1725 rpm as well and will provide about 20% more capacity, with a maximum of 530 l/h. Maximum discharge pressure is 16 bar (230 psi). This series mounts directly to NEMA 48Y motors by means of a v-band clamp and to M71, M80 IEC and NEMA 56C motors by means of an adapter and relevant coupling.
