The Fluid-o-Tech PA404X is a commercial-grade, positive displacement rotary vane pump belonging to the heavy-duty PO/PA 70-400 series. Engineered specifically for transferring clean water and moderately aggressive liquids at high pressures, this compact pump features a highly durable brass housing. Internally, it utilizes a precision-machined AISI 303 stainless steel rotor paired with a high-density carbon graphite pumping chamber and vanes. This advanced internal metallurgy provides a self-lubricating wear surface, ensuring maintenance-free operation and a smooth, pulsation-free fluid output during continuous-duty commercial applications.
Designed to maximize operational reliability, the PA404X yields a robust nominal flow rate of 400 liters per hour (approximately 105 GPH at 1450 RPM or 140 GPH at 1725 RPM) and safely handles a maximum operating pressure of 230 PSI. This specific model is equipped with an integrated, balanced relief valve (bypass) designed to safely regulate system pressure directly at the pump head, as well as a built-in 70-mesh strainer to protect the chamber from particulates. Utilizing standard 3/8-inch NPT threaded inlet and outlet ports, it features a standard V-band clamp (carbonator clamp) mounting configuration. It seamlessly couples to compatible NEMA 48Y or standard NEMA 56C electric motors, making it a dependable, industry-standard component for high-volume espresso coffee machines, post-mix beverage dispensers, commercial cooling loops, and reverse osmosis (RO) systems.
