PA511 / PA 511 Fluid-o-Tech 165 GPH 2.75 GPM Standard Bypass High Volume Stainless Steel Rotary Vane Pump
Fluid-o-Tech PA 511 Stainless Steel Rotary Vane Pump
The Fluid-o-Tech PA 511 is a high-volume, positive displacement rotary vane pump belonging to the heavy-duty PO/PA 500-1000 Series. Engineered specifically for continuous-duty commercial and industrial fluid transfer, this robust pump features a high-grade stainless steel housing. Internally, it utilizes a precision-machined AISI 303 stainless steel rotor paired with a high-density carbon graphite pumping chamber and vanes. This advanced internal metallurgy provides a self-lubricating wear surface, ensuring smooth, pulsation-free fluid delivery, exceptionally quiet operation, and long-lasting durability when handling clean water and moderately aggressive liquids.
Designed to maximize operational reliability for larger systems, the PA 511 delivers a robust nominal flow rate of approximately 165 gallons per hour (GPH) when operated at a standard 1725 RPM, safely handling a maximum operating pressure of 230 PSI. This specific model is equipped with an integrated, adjustable internal relief valve (bypass) designed to safely regulate system pressure directly at the pump head and protect against system pressure spikes. Utilizing high-flow 1/2" NPT(F) threaded ports and an NSF-approved elastomer seal, it strictly complies with regulations for handling potable water. Featuring a standard carbonator clamp (v-band) mounting configuration, it seamlessly couples to compatible NEMA 48Y or standard NEMA 56C electric motors, making it a dependable, industry-standard component for high-output reverse osmosis (RO) systems, commercial cooling loops, and water treatment facilities.

The PO 500-1000 series positive displacement rotary vane pumps are available with brass or stainless steel housing with ½” GAS or NPT ports and internal relief valve. The nominal flow rates range between 500 and 1000 l/h at 1450 rpm. Any vane pumps of this series may be operated at 1725 rpm as well and will provide about 20% more capacity, with a maximum of 320 GPH. Maximum discharge pressure is 230 psi (16 bar). This series mounts directly to widely available NEMA 48Y motor by means of a v-band clamp and to M71, M80 IEC and NEMA 56C motors by means of an adapter and relevant coupling.
