HCTI PV-2540SW 1000 PSI FRP Fiberglass Membrane Housing
The HCTI PV-2540SW is a highly durable 2.5" x 40" membrane pressure vessel designed specifically for seawater desalination applications operating at pressures up to 1000 PSI. Constructed from non-corrosive fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) in a natural color, this housing provides long-lasting reliability in harsh, high-salinity environments. It features an end-entry configuration equipped with standard 1/4" feed, brine, and permeate ports. The design intentionally incorporates maximum separation between the permeate port and the feed/concentrate ports, allowing for the effortless use of larger fittings during installation.
Assembly and maintenance are streamlined through the integration of flush-mount end plugs—available in either anodized aluminum or acetal co-polymer with stainless steel backing plates—and secured by anodized aluminum retaining clamp locking devices. Ethylene propylene FDA-approved O-rings are included as the standard seal to ensure safe and leak-free operation. This universal-style housing is engineered to fit standard 2.5" x 40" membranes.
