DuPont FilmTec SW30-2514 Seawater RO Membrane (150 GPD)

 

The DuPont FilmTec SW30-2514 is a compact Seawater Reverse Osmosis Element designed for small-scale marine watermakers and land-based desalination systems. Measuring just 14 inches in length, this 2.5-inch diameter element is the standard choice for sailboats, yachts, and portable desalinators where space is limited but high-quality freshwater production is required.

Engineered with DuPont’s proven SW30 polyamide thin-film composite chemistry, this element delivers excellent salt rejection of 99.4% while maintaining durability in high-salinity environments. It is constructed with a Fiberglass outer shell (unlike the tape-wrapped tap water models), which provides the structural strength necessary to withstand the high operating pressures (typically 800 PSI) required for seawater desalination. With a flow rate of 150 GPD, it ensures a reliable supply of potable water from the ocean.
