The DuPont FilmTec™ SW30HRLE-440i is a premium, high-performance Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Membrane engineered to deliver an optimal balance of high salt rejection and lower energy consumption. Designed for large-scale municipal and industrial seawater desalination systems, this 8" x 40" element utilizes an expansive 440 square feet of active membrane area. This maximized surface area permits the lowest possible system cost by boosting productivity, yielding an impressive permeate flow rate of 8,200 GPD while maintaining a stringent 99.8% stabilized salt rejection rate.

To ensure long-lasting, reliable performance, the SW30HRLE-440i is constructed with a durable 28-mil feed spacer that reduces the frequency of necessary cleanings and enhances overall resistance to fouling. The "i" designation signifies the inclusion of DuPont's patented iLEC™ (Interlocking End Caps). This innovative technology creates a direct mechanical seal between elements within the pressure vessel, eliminating the need for interconnecting O-rings and drastically reducing the risk of internal leaks that could otherwise compromise permeate water quality.
