The Hydranautics SWC6-LD is a professional-grade seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) membrane engineered to deliver exceptional energy efficiency and high-purity water in demanding desalination applications. Manufactured by the Nitto Group, this 8-inch by 40-inch element utilizes advanced composite polyamide technology. It is specifically designed as a low feed pressure membrane, making it highly preferred for operations where seawater feed temperatures are lower and energy consumption must be strictly minimized to reduce overall facility operating costs.

Built for heavy-duty, continuous industrial use, this element incorporates Hydranautics' proprietary Low Differential (LD) Technology. This specialized design features a 34-mil feed spacer and an expansive 400 square foot active membrane area, which work cohesively to minimize colloidal fouling and significantly increase the duration between required chemical cleanings when used with conventional pre-treatment equipment. Under standard test conditions evaluated at a pressure of 600 PSI, the SWC6-LD delivers a highly reliable nominal permeate flow rate of 6,000 gallons per day (GPD) alongside a robust salt rejection rate of 99.6%. Capable of safely withstanding a maximum applied pressure of 1,200 PSI, this membrane offers a highly durable and cost-effective solution for large-scale seawater desalination and high-salinity industrial wastewater processing.
